Representing the great state of Texas, on the doghouse bass Mr. Vance Williams.  Vance has lived in the Tidewater Area since 1957.  He picked up the bass in 1997 after attending a few local jam sessions where there was no shortage of other instruments but not a bass in the bunch.  His solid timing and decisively conservative bass line give Coastline that driving, quality sound.  Vance plays a 1941 Kay that rings out a sound nearly as big as... well... Texas, of course.
